Hastings approves rates for five sewer districts

NY HASTINGS — Hastings Town Board approves 2026 rates for five sewer districts. The board unanimously approved rate structures for Caughdenoy, Water Tower Landing, East Fort Brewerton, Fort Brewerton, and Route 11 sewer districts, with rates ranging from $50 to $917.08 annually depending on district and service type. The board also authorized payment-in-lieu-of-taxes agreements for solar energy systems operated by Mallory South PV I, LLC and Mallory South PV II, LLC, and appointed Elizabeth Stewart as Deputy Town Clerk at $25 per hour.
The board approved a $10,500 contract with Bonadio & Co. to prepare the 2025 Annual Financial Report.
